Criminal law is the traditional domain of intervention of the lawyer as a defender of the individual against the judicial machine. However, criminal law exceeded its historical framework and had entered into public life, the business world and the daily life. The lawyer must therefore adapt to these new fields of interventions which challenge principles that we wrongly thought were immutable: the presumption of innocence, the liability of legal persons, suppression of juvenile delinquency, traffic infractions, are challenges met by the lawyer in his professional activities.
